Being a tourist in my own city

Didn't go to school today. Instead, I went downtown with my mom and did Olympic stuff.

I think it's safe to say that I am enjoying having the Olympics here. It's pretty exciting. I went downtown in the evening on Saturday. That was sweet... so many drunk people and just a lot of screaming and cheering. There's so much to see, I'm going back on Friday. Need to visit a few more places.

SAD STORY OF THE DAY (I don't like to complain):
I previewed the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M collection online. Decided that all I wanted was the knitted black beanie with the rhinestones on it. So, I go into H&M; I was surprised at how much was left (almost all of it). Found the beanie, tried it on, bought it. Was on public transit, took my new beloved hat (it sparkled it the sun), brushed through my hair, and placed my sunglasses on top of my head. Realized about five minutes later that I did not have my hat in my hands, or my purse. LOST IT. So, so, so sad! I might buy another one... I really, really liked it.

  5. oh no! so sad :/ also, the shoes are fairly old, fashion wise, so that may be why you can't find them. mine I got through an incredible bit of luck, which i will probably share on the blog soon when a dearth of inspiration is upon me.
