So my 28 day winter break in Vancouver is almost coming to a bitter sweet end. I definitely should have started my homework (yes, homework over winter break) sooner.

Anyway, I've been looking for the perfect pair of lace up boots for over a year now. I wanted a round toe (preferably almond shaped), above the ankle, with a bit of a heel, and of course, in leather. I never really found what I was looking for... These are the closest I've come. So, I bought them from Little Burgundy for a great price.

You know what else I've wanted (not needed) for a long time? The J Brand Houlihan Cargos. So, there is a great debate about these pants. They're trendy, and of-the-moment, and also carry a hefty price tag - about $280+ CDN. And then a ton of imitation versions came out. So, what's a girl to do... Settle for the next best thing she can find? Just buy them? Forget about them? Hard thing to do when you see them on every girl around you.

Lucky me, I found them at Nordstrom. Last pair, in my size, for $99. YES, PLEASE! I got them in vintage black, which is more like a charcoal gray. I prefer it over the classic green, seeing as I think they're a bit limited in terms of wearability.

Back to school I go... With a suitcase full of my favourite foods (easily found in Vancouver), and some new clothes I can't wait to wear!
